Gearing Up for Halloween

Well the girls are very excited about Halloween once again this year. We went shopping so they could each pick out their costumes. Brynn has wanted to be Aerial for months and of course chose pink and red hairspray to finish off the look! Reegan is reverting to the days of PEACE, LOVE and FLOWER POWER and good old Greer has to be a rock and roll glam star. Kevin and I only see trouble in our future with this little spirited girl. Unfortunately for Kevin he was unable to carve pumpkins with the girls this year... one of his most favorite things to do. We missed him! For me the idea of carving three pumpkins seemed daunting so I was so happy when mom and dad came down from the Inn for the weekend and I was able to talk them into doing it with us. I think Dad was in dire need of a stiff drink to calm his nerves by the time it was all said and done, but the girls had a GREAT time! I am still cleaning pumpkin guts off of the floor! Many thanks Mom and Dad!
I think we have finally figured out the move details. The packers are coming on Monday 11-12, loading the truck on 11-13, and then the girls and I will be catching a plane on Wed 11-14. That's as long as things go smoothly of course. Should be interesting to see when the truck finally lands in AZ. I am just hoping to find some pots and pans for Thanksgiving dinner.

It's really happening!

With everyone blogging these days I thought I'd put my hat into the ring and start my own. I am sure that it will be hit and miss for the next couple of weeks until we get settled, but this will be a great way to stay in touch with those people that mean so much to us. We are currently scheduled to move in the next couple of weeks. Our house on BI is at the pending stage and we are just now going through the motions on the new place in Scottsdale, AZ. Between picking out carpet, paint, multiple inspections... we are well on our way. I am going to try to include a picture of the new digs in AZ. More to come so stay tuned!
