Sammy the Friendly Scorpion..... NOT!

Found my first critter the other night hanging on the wall above the fridge. Lucky me! I do have to say though that I don't think it wandered in from outside.....instead I think it's been a house guest for quite some time. In doing some cleaning I found a really dirty towel stuck up behind the vent above the sub-zero. Most likely when I pulled it out I awoke our guest from it's warm abode, who then came out to visit. Way too cold here for them to be awandering so needless to say he was an easy target with my HUGE BBQ spatula and duct tape!

A Patchwork of Paint

Well picking out paint has not been as easy as we had invisioned! It seems like we can put the exact same color on walls and each looks completely different from the next...... Doesn't help that one wall is a yellowish-white, one a pinkish-brown, and then don't forget the lovely blue and raspberry! We think we have made our initial choices but haven't even started thinking about the girls rooms. Oh well, I guess that's why it's called a work in progress!

Greer lost her First Tooth!

On the morning of January 14th Greer lost her very first tooth. She was sooo excited and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to make a visit. Greer asked a very interesting question... "when it's hot mom, do you think the Tooth Fairy wears a bathing suit?" Gotta love a child's mind.
