Greer's Karate Birthday Party and Misc pics

Greer had a blast at her party. The kids were treated to a karate lesson, games and pizza. Kevin and i were treated to having absolutely no clean up or party organization! It was a win win for all! One of the highlights was Greer and the instructor Mr. See cutting the cake with a real Samurai sword! I have some great video that I will share later.

Easter

Gma made dresses for the girls dolls

Thought it was due time that I posted some pictures of Easter. We had a great morning opening gifts, searching for Easter baskets and playing with the Eggs that the Easter Bunny had left behind floating in the pool. Later that day we headed over to our friends house for an early BBQ and the girls played in the pool. It was funny to watch the kids running around doing an Easter Egg hunt in their bathing suits! I will try to upload some video once I figure out how to get it off of the recorder! We hope that you all had a wonderful Easter. It was strange not being with family this year but all in all it was a fun day.

Greer turns 6- Well almost

It seems impossible to me that Greer will be six in 8 days. Seems like yesterday that we brought this tiny little bundle home a day or two before Easter, and here we are now, 4 homes, 1 more kid and a complelty diffeerent state later. Where has the time gone?..... well from that last sentence I shouldn't really pose that question now should I.
We had a mini celebration while mom, dad and Gammy were here visiting. While we (Dad, Kevin, Reegan, Gammy and myself) were at a Spring training game, Gigi made special birthday cupcakes with Greer and Brynn. To top it off Greer chose to have lasagna which is one of her favs for dinner.
This year we will be partying "Karate" style with several of Greer's new friends from school down at one of the local studios. I was highest bidder on the complete party (Pizza, games/prizes, karate instruction for 18 guest) at Anasazi's Silent Auction. All we have to do is bring the cake. Now that sounds more like a party for myself!!! No cleaning house prior to or after.... no food preparation.... and no entertaining a bunch of Kindergarten kids! YEAH ME!! Just kidding. It should be fun and will post pictures after the party which is on the 29th.

Softball

We are half way through softball season so figured I had better post some pictures of the girls. Reegan hit her first home run the other day.... she didn't know what happened until she stopped at first and the entire crowd went nuts yelling at her to RUN.... all the way home. She was very proud of herself to say the least and of course you should have seen the grin on her dad's face!!
Greer is enjoying her first time out on the field as well. Kevin was asked to co-share the assistant coach position which made him very happy. He has always wanted to do so, but couldn't before due to his travel. His current job enables him to be at almost every practice and game. He is hoping to help out on Reegan's team too next year if the opportunity arises.
